Hawks We won our 3rd game 5-2! Our team is awesome. It's so much fun to play (even tho I'm not the best). Playing on a really good team makes me feel like I'm at least decent. haha. Oh and guess what? I had a nice asthma attack last week, and almost this week. I think I need to hit up the doctor and get myself an inhaler.

Thanksgiving I'm ready for it. We're going to So.cal. We're gonna stay one night in Vegas because Lane has never been. And we might go to Knott's during the week. I'm so excited to spend time with mi familia! annnnnnnnnnnd I need a break from school. On the plus side, the first block is over this week so two of my classes will be over.

Kelly It's more for my own excitement, but if you don't know her...she is one of my best friends, and she recently left for her mission in SLC. And I got my first letter from her. She is amazing. I'm so happy for her and I'm so excited to see her in like 17 months! I was pretty excited to get her letter because she makes me laugh with out even trying and I laughed at every sentence. The end. :)

Mama's weekend!

My mom came to Rexburg for the weekend. It was a lot of fun. Friday we went out for lunch to Wingers with Lane. Then I had a game that Lane and Mom came to...they were troopers because it was FREEZING! (We even saw snowflakes fall). We won 3-0 tho, I guess that's the plus side! :)

After we thawed with hot chocolate, we went and got pizza and rented "Iron Man." My mom and I weren't really fans of the movie but oh well.

Saturday--We went to the temple to start our day out. When we got out it was snowing!...well kind of. Sleet. So we went to lunch at Hard Hat (a bbq) place. Then my mom and I went to Walmart and got Halloween stuff and got stuff to do my hair. Now I'm a brunette! Then we all went to the movies and saw "Forever Strong", which was pretty good. I made some mac'n'cheese around 11 and my mom and I just watched a movie and ate it and talked. It was nice.

Sunday--Our church is at 8:30 so we went to Sacrament meeting (it was snowing) and then just came home and hung out. Lane made us some french toast before church and a yummy meal for lunch (bbq chicken, baked potatoes, corn, biscuits, and some pasta salad). Then mom left. It was a short visit, but I enjoyed seeing her. Now it's back to school--and with snow. Hurray.

We're still alive

So we don't really take any pictures. Lane had to go out of town to Boise for training on his new job. It was not fun at all for either of us.
I started soccer. I'm taking 18...ish credits. I have a soccer class for two hours each on Tuesdays and Thursdays, soccer practice for an hour and a half Mondays and Wednesdays, and games on Fridays/Saturdays. I play on a competitive league up here. Our team name is the HAWKS and our colors are red and black. We won our first game 4-1! and it was so much fun. I have one of my best friends, Jenna Bates on my team so that's fun. I'm keeping busy.
Lane is getting started with meeting with people and building clients, trying to sell life insurance and help people with retirement plans. SO if you know of anyone who may be interested, let us know, he is excited about it and needs referrals! We'll try to take more pictures, like at soccer or something. I guess someday when we have kids our blog will be more interesting! :)
I love my crockpot. I know it doesn't take much cooking skill for it, but I feel proud everytime I make a meal in it. I'm learning outside of it tho and I'm getting pretty good!

The Move

The pictures are a little out of order but I think you can tell which is the new and nicer apartment! :)

So we're all settled now in our new apartment in Rexburg ID! And everything about it is 100x better. We love it. We have a nice open living room and kitchen, our own washer and dryer, a shower that actually has pressure, 2 bedrooms, lots of closet space, cable and internet, AND it doesnt smell like cigarettes/poo/mildew. And we're closer to our friends! I'm excited for school, and Lane for work and his new office!

Ps.

We took advantage of my employee discount at Sports Authority and now I have my very own set of golf clubs, and Lane got a new driver and another club. So we've been going to the driving range so I can learn. I'm having fun and I can't wait til I'm ready to play 9!

Just an update...

Well we have made it almost 3 months now! Lane has been busy with projects at work with FlyingJ, and I've been working at Sports Authority. I think we'll both miss our jobs, but we won't really miss Ogden. We're pretty excited to settle in Rexburg in a couple weeks. I'm ready to go back to school, and Lane is ready to start his job. He's been studying already for it, and he will do a great job. It will be nice to at least be around our friends again!

As far as pictures go, we haven't really taken many unless we're around people or go to some event or something. So we're boring! We'll start busting out the camera when we move!
